Nineteen Bar & Restaurant is the newest concept to come to Colchester, having launched on Friday 14th March 2008. We are a friendly and inviting restaurant during the daytime and a lively bar during the evening. We are situated on Head Street in Colchester, Essex near to the Odeon Cinema, Mercury Theatre and opposite Debenhams.

We serve great food that is freshly made every day by our full time chefs. Much of the food we prepare is created using British and where possible local produce. We are open 7 days and nights per week from 11am every day.

We pride ourselves on a warm and friendly service with great food and drink that can be enjoyed all day long. Even if you just fancy a specialty coffee, frappe or milkshake join us and relax with free newspapers and free WIFI connection.

We are child friendly too offering a children's menu, with high chairs and baby changing facilities.

At night the restaurant is transformed in to the coolest bar in Colchester hosting a range of speciality nights:

Saturdays - Just Big it Up!  Resident DJ Sammy (Linikers Ibiza/Ayia Napa/Sexiest DJ in Essex) rocks the place until 2am with an ethereal mix of Funky House and Old School Classics!;
